Sales Skills
Selling skills are essential for an associate to turn a customer into a flooring detail.
Increase Flooring Details
You must know how to get your customer to select products and then ask for them to set up a detail.

Customer Service
Learn how to quickly build rapport and engage with your customers to help them with their project.
Product Knowledge
Having product knowledge on carpet and hard surfaces will give associates more confidence.

Video Modules
Red Vest Selling currently has 13 video modules. The library includes Why Lowe's?, what it means to wear a red vest, selling skills, rapport and engaging techniques, overcoming objections, customer service skills, carpet product knowledge, installation knowledge, My Lowe's Rewards credit, measuring software and quality details. Modules will give confidence and empower associates with skills that enhance the current Lowe's University training with a focus on flooring. Additional modules are under development development.

Store Handouts
Each module in Red Vest Selling has an accompanying Store Handout to be used for Speciality Spotlights to discuss and teach the Core Concepts and the Key Learning skills from each module. These are accessible to each associate when they log into each module. They can be downloaded and printed to be handed out to all associates during these events as well.

Role Plays
Each module store handout has a Role Play designed to reinforce the learning skills and core concepts from the module. This can done down the aisle with two associates of with the PROvider representative. They are fun, easy and will give valuable practice to the associate for when they have a customer.

Learning Assessments
After watching each video module, associates have 7 questions to test their knowledge of the core concepts and key learning skills. Multiple choice and True/False questions make up the questions designed to recall the important items from the module.

Completion Patches & Certificates
When an associate completes all the modules within Red Vest Selling, they will be issued a certificate of completion. When they present this to their PROvider rep, they will receive a vest patch which they can wear proudly as a symbol of their commitment to excellence and their completion of the RVS program.

Trainer Guides &
Train the Trainer Videos
Each module has a train the trainer video explanation of the overall concept of each module video narrated by the founder of the training program. Each Core Concept and Key Learning skill is explained from a training perspective to help the PROvider be able to teach and train each module to associates. When the PROvider wants to present a module at a Specialty Spotlight, we have provided a trainer guide along with the PPT slides from each module to allow them to do a personal presentation to a group of associates for more interaction and role playing.
